Lets learn about Reiki
The practice of Reiki is an original method of energy healing, developed by Dr Mikao Usui in Japan in the early in the 20th century.
It works on every level, not just the physical.
The Japanese word Reiki means ‘Universal Energy’.
“Rei” is defined as Universal Life Giving.
“Ki” is defined as Energy.
Energy is an unseen, unlimited lifeforce which flows through every living thing, without it nothing would grow or heal.
Reiki is a safe and natural way to align our seven main chakras’, which are essentially our main energy centres within our body.
The Chakra system is the opening for life energy to flow into and out of our Aura, their purpose is to bring balance and harmony to our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
If a Chakra is blocked this can affect the balance of energy within the body and may manifest in making you feel stressed, have increased anxiety and poor sleeping habits to name but a few.
Working with your energy through Reiki will help to align the flow of energy in your body. Making you feel more refreshed, relaxed, and focused. When your body and mind feel good, you operate at a much higher frequency.
As your practitioner I act as a bridge or a channel, whereby energy is passed to you. If you are an open channel the effect of reiki can help on so many levels in your life.
What are the 7 Chakras and what do they represent?
- Crown is represented by the colour purple / bright white and stands for Spirituality
- Third Eye is represented by the colour Indigo/Purple and stands for Awareness, intuition, all
- seeing and all knowing.
- Throat is represented by the colour Blue it stands for Communication.
- Heart is represented by the colour Green and stand for Love and Healing.
- Solar Plexus is represented by the yellow and stands for Wisdom and Power.
- Sacral is represented by the colour Orange and stands for Emotions and Intimacy.
- Root is represented by the colour Red and stands for Grounding, keeping you at the right
- level of energy frequency for you to operate effectively.
